Waterstone LSP works directly with the management team of our lenders to identify goals and benefits of SBA lending to each financial institution. Assisting with items big to small, such as obtaining a 750 agreement with the SBA or composing a formal SBA lending policy for the lender, no detail is left behind.
Training a lender’s relationship managers and their support staff on the basics of SBA and the Waterstone process develops quality continuity between the lender’s internal departments and the Waterstone team. This continuity is the key ingredient to developing an efficient, less stressful SBA lending process. With no minimum lending requirement, our system is designed and focused on each loan and providing the best service and communication, the first time, every time.

Waterstone LSP has a quick-qualification platform that assists lenders to efficiently identify viable lending opportunities. Within this platform Waterstone can work directly with the lender and the applicant to make sure we are helping both structure a loan that puts the small business applicant in a position to succeed. We assist with the drafting of bank term sheets and /or letters of intent that identify the key metrics and features of the SBA loan upfront, no surprises.

Waterstone also has a developed underwriting template in a format ready for SBA submission. Identifying the strengths and weaknesses of each loan opportunity, we focus on the key metrics within each underwriting package. Our global analysis of the applicant company, affiliates and guarantors establishes the needed loan structure and outlines items needed in packaging for a successful SBA submission.

Working directly with the small business applicant, our lending partners remain in oversight and review instead of getting bogged down in the function of gathering and organizing documents. Closing & Disbursements

Working with closing attorneys, insurance providers, title companies and loan operations is our specialty. Closing documents are provided timely and meet SBA Authorization requirements and disbursements are documented to support loan advances whether the loan is full-funding or drawn out in multiple disbursements.

Servicing & Liquidations
Servicing & Liquidations

Monthly 1502 reports, remittances, payment postings, accounting, and servicing actions are handled timely and professionally. Monthly reports and reconciliations are provided for loan operations and accounting departments of the lender. We also provide support in repurchase packages and liquidation actions and documentation needed to be reported to the SBA.
